    It's your project, so you call the shots! The more input we receive from you the better we can satisfy your needs and produce a product that will have the desired look and impact that you want. We communicate with you from start to finish and make sure you (our client) are 100% satisfied.

  3. If I already have a web site can you help me improve it?
    Sure. We can usually redesign or freshen up an existing site quicker, and for less money than building one from scratch. Whether your company's website "doesn't look professional", takes too long to load or the navigation is baffling to visitors, Genemix can help.

  4. How Does The Web Design Process Work? A professionally built website can promote your products and services, enhance your image, and generate sales. With that in mind, we will carefully research your business needs and plan a strategy to create the ideal web solution. (Basic overview listed below.)

    • Initial Consultation: All our services begin with a free quote. This helps us gather information about your company, services, audience, purpose, site goals, and more.

    • Proposal & Paperwork: After you are confident we have addressed all your ideas, questions, and requirements, you can get specific recommendations for your project. We explain these options with the proposed pricing to deliver them. Once you agree, you receive a formal proposal that contains all of the work you require, prices and payment schedule, and contract.

    • Payments: We require 50% Deposit to start your work. After “you agree”, “we agree” and paperwork is signed and faxed, emailed or mailed to us, we start the actual design process.

    • Collecting Your Content: You can provide us with the text and any other content for your website and any specific pictures you would like to add.

    • Design Development: We ask you to provide examples of websites you really like, colors you like, and your competitors’ websites. Once you provide that information to us you will get a creative "mockup" of what your website will look like when it's completed.

    • Design Selection & Finalization: After the initial "Mockup" is designed, you will review it on our servers. We send you a web link to view the "mockup" and ask if you would like any changes. You request revisions as necessary and then you provide final approval.

    • Web Development: After receiving your final approval on the "mockup", we will then begin building the website and web pages, incorporating the design and all of the content that you provide.

    • Pre-launch Evaluation: After the site is built, you will be able to view all pages to make sure everything is exactly how you want it. You will submit any desired changes and then give final approval before the site goes live.

    • Launching Your Website: After final approval and payment has been received, your website will be published on your domain, and it will be live for all the world to see! We can help register your domain name and host your website too – so you don’t have to worry about technical aspects of your website ever.

    • Ongoing Support: After your website is launched, we will work with you to establish a regular review and maintenance schedule of your web site to accommodate your requests, user feedback, system upgrades and any new emerging web technologies.

  5. Do I have to host my web site through Genemix?
    No. Although for best security and reliability we suggest that you allow Genemix to host your site, but we don’t make hosting with us mandatory. However, choosing to host with Genemix has some BIG advantages in store for you. You won't have to worry about the technical aspects of managing your hosting account, databases or servers because we do it all for you. Plus, you will have a one point contact person for all your project needs.

  6. What does 'Website Maintenance' or 'Website Updates' mean?
    Website Maintenance or Website Updates refers to changes made to your website after the initial design & setup. Keeping a web site up-to-date is essential in having repeat visitors. Updating your web site with new images, articles, products, newsletters, press releases, financial figures and links are all examples of website Maintenance. Keep your site fresh and keep it up to date with our Maintenance services.

  7. What areas do you serve?
    Since all of our work is done electronically and the client does not have to be located in our area, we are able to serve clients all over the United States and even internationally. We are, however, based out of Houston Texas.

  8. When I call, will I be speaking to someone in the U.S.?
    Yes. Our phone rings right here in the U.S.A., and all of your questions will be answered by our web professionals because we are based out of Houston, Texas. Allot of our competitors say the are doing the work, but are actually outsourcing to third parties outside of the United States to make a "quick buck". There Is No Middle Man Here!

  9. Can I use my existing website address if I host with you?
    Yes, we can easily help you retain your old domain name or help you register a new domain name. We also support web site migration from your current hosting provider to Genemix's servers.

  10. Do you offer Emergency After Hours Support?
    Yes! We give our clients the personal phone numbers for key individuals on our staff in the event of an emergency after business hours. Emergency updates and regular maintenance concerns are handled during business hours - 9am to 5pm Central Time.

  11. Does Genemix Multimedia design Adult web sites?
    Genemix is a Christian owned and operated business and DOES NOT create or have anything to do with Adult related materials.
